I totally love the holiday Valentines, because I love hearts, and romance. I dress in a lot hearts during this time until February ends, even after Valentine Day, and I don't even care.
I recently purschase this Heart-X-O-X bag. My Bath and Body Heart Coin purse goes well with it.
I actually don't spend a lot my hard earned money for such things too, lets just say, Goodwill has been my best shopping partner.
A recent craft I made was this flower, using my flower loom, the one I have is actually a vintage one, and may be hard to find, I was very happy when my fiance bought me this loom many years ago as a gift, I have made many flowers with my loom.
This is my favorite polka-dotted red dress. I found this dress many years ago, when I was out in LA with my fiance, we wanted to eat Z-Pizza because he had this really great coupon for it, and I don't remember what part of LA it was, but it was pretty interesting area, ended up walking around a bit, and there was this store selling these dress for a really great deal, I saw the dress, and knew I had to get it, orginally it was alot more than what I ended paying for, I got it for $20. I wear it in February every year now. It just goes so well with Valentines.
To help tone down the brighness and the polka dots of the dress, I like to dress with a black brooch bow, I purschase this bow at one the crafts fairs I attended. I am a supporter of other crafters out there.
Another item I purchased at a craft fair. I totally love heart shaped sunglasses, and would like to share you guys the collection of heart shaped sunglass, I have. Heart shaped sunglasses can be found online, and many are sold at Venice Beach also. They are commonly sold in the typical sunglasses stores out there.
A recent creation of mine, and it is actually made from old party cups.
So many of these get throw out every year from many parties, I collected them from a previous graduation party. My fiance saw what I was doing, and he was like, why do you want that? Since I also love recycled crafting, I tend to collect the oddest trash items, and as usual, my fiance frowns at me and gives his skeptical look, of "Huh?" It is quite entertaining actually. But those that understand my behavior, understand when they look at a piece of thrash, they don't see thrash, they see matierials.
Well the story behind these earring is, I took the cups and my lovely heart punch from Daiso, and pop-out many hearts. I knew I wanted to use these hearts one day. I also had many rose resins I purchased from etsy seller. Glued the two together along with an earring backing. Put them all together you have a lovely rose-heart studded earring.
The $1 store is my next best friend for shopping, and thank you all those hard working people in China working to make all those items for us rich Americans.
This clip is from the $1 store, but I ended up painting it red. I totally love it.
I love the beads I owe, I made a cute heart bracelet recently also for my Valentine theme.
The Women Jewelry Fair is one my favorit events to attend every year, and this watch was purchased there. I love the hearts it has on them, so goes with Valentines.
I totally love nail polish, and as a nursing major, one can understand that you love it even more when you are in the program since it not allowed to be worn while in the program.
I don't owe very many plain socks, but I totally love these heart arrow socks.
